Personality: He's young and lean, perfectly capable to perform in battles and street fights. In fact, he prefers it. This tabby isn't just rough around the edges, he's sharp and jagged on the inside as well. He feels like he was born for fighting and fit to lead an army- Despite his hatred for stuck up cats, he is one himself.. but being Bashful is the least of his worries. He has a bad habit of getting hold of some information that he shouldn't have, and staying hidden with it until an opportunity comes. Though he never disappoints a higher rank, he may often lie to them in order to achieve some status that he really doesn't have. But lie if he must because the words from this cat's tongue are completely believable. Others might often find him trustworthy even at times when he is hiding behind lie after lie.. but other than his own inclinations, he despises others that would stoop as low as to lie to him.

Other than the soldier he feels he needs to be, Cassius is quite a flirtatious fellow. Though because of early abandonment, he does not like to rely on others for very long.. and has been known to leave a she-cat early on in a relationship, smack dab in the middle, and even at the very end. So far, no matter what, he has left every single she-cat he has ever went out with. The trick for him is to be a great actor, and everyone falls for it. Cassius actually acknowledges the fact that every cat (even female) is different, and shifts his personality that would match.

Appearance: Just a simple grey tabby, Cassius has smokey fur layered with stripes on top of stripes. He has been told multiple times that he is handsome, and is cute when he gets mad.. though he tends to doubt it. His light hazel eyes are always seemingly watching your movements, and judging every single action you do in his presence - though they flood with admiration when he is training. It has also been said that the first thing that a female notices about him, are his large, inky eyes; Seemingly filled with sensitivity and love, but secretly all a lie.

History: Before the devastation leading to this towns destruction, Cassius was a stray. His life consisted of thieving and flirting in order to get his next meals and often times didn't have a dependable area to sleep. Though his curiosity gave him the upper hand in knowing the who's and what's around the city, and though he never had a permanent place call home, he always had some shelter available for him.
He formed 'alliances', or friendships, with other strays to keep track of where the best place to get food was, where there was heating/ air conditioning available, and other useful information that concerned only the best... it wasn't rare that the cat would get shooed away by people or chased around by dogs, but he got around easily after learning the ropes.
One night, after stealing from human's homes and harassing neighborhood kids for so long, the law finally caught up to him. He had managed to flirt up one gorgeous domesticated she-cat again and had been staying with her and the owner. The food was nice, and the human interaction wasn't too bad (he secretly loves to be stroked on the head), and overall, this place made for one heck of a 'sleeping arrangement'. But after a while, a bird has to leave the nest. On his planned day to ditch the fancy feline and the old lady, he was spotted. Very rarely was he spotted, but 'Shelly', the white Siberian, caught him dead in his tracks, and was really.. upset with the whole thing. She confessed that she had fallen for Cassius' charm and was wanting to live her life with him.. but it was clear he had other plans. He could have easily talked his way out of the situation, told her he was going out to get her something nice or said he was just leaving because he had thought she didn't have the same feelings.. but instead, just shrugged it off and made a run for door. Worst decision. He had missed his chance to squeeze through the open door, and was now stuck there.

Little did he know of Shelly's plan. Non-stop from that point on, the cat would not stop complaining to her owner about Cassius. She meowed and purred and snarled and hissed and made attempts to make the tabby look bad. And that was it. The Humane Society was called the next day to take 'Elvis' (for that was what the elderly lady had been calling him by) away, because her other cat strangely starting acting up.

Because of there 72 hour policy before euthanization, and Cassius'/ Elvis' unadoptable status, time was running out... but that was when he lucked out. Because of all the war and disease, his time available for adoption was extended until everything smoothed over.. but it never did. Once the shelter was deserted, he was rescued by an old street friend of his and made his way to the Felidae pack because life as a stray would not work with out people to steal from.

extra notes: though he remembers his mother, he was never really sure where either of his parents disappeared to -
but sees it as them leaving him.

Secrets: Actually has a very big sensitive side he doesn't even know he has
reason he is such a "ditcher of relationships" is because he feels he will end up an awful parent/ mate like his
secretly hopes there is a she-cat out there that will bring out a new side of him
